About The UK Site

The UK web site  originally started life on the Geocities Free Web Hosting Service, & was set up by several UK members back in 2001.

These members were ordinary people that were Knight/Dame members of the Order of The Commonwealth and The Order of St. Andrew of Jerusalem, that were incensed to read on other various web sites, (see Order Assassins on the main index page) derogatory, nasty, & completely untrue, comments about the Prince Grandmaster.  (His Excellency, The Prince Douglas) These comments also cast doubt  regarding the validity of the orders themselves & proceeded to insinuate that Peerage Conferred (The Prince's Official Web Site) was nothing short of a 'money making scam' or a get rich quick scheme by selling so called false titles.

Working closely with His Excellency The Prince Douglas's Chancellery Staff & Lord Seàn Madsen (The Prince's Official Private Secretary) the UK site is here to inform & correct any false statements, claims that other people may make about the Orders, as well as to promote chivalry, good will, friendship & give further information for & on behalf of the Principality of St. Michel De Clermont & all orders that are contained within the Principality.

We work on a voluntary basis, and are not salaried or paid in anyway. At the present time, the site is designed & maintained & paid for entirely by The Rt. Hon. Lord & Lady Beare - UK Lord Prior & Lady Prioress of Both the Order of St. Andrew of Jerusalem.
