"On behalf of the Knights, Dames and Officers of the Sovereign and Independent Order of St.Andrew of Jerusalem, founded at Acre in the Holy Land in 1232 AD, I bid you welcome to this independent web site. In these days of uncertainty and confusion we extend to all sincere seekers the traditional values of chivalry, viz; truth, valour, largesse to the poor and protection to the weak and dispossessed. The promotion of all these values is paramount in our aims. Indeed all Members of the Order of St. Andrew of Jerusalem are pledged to this. As the British Isles have long been a repository of these traditional values, it gives me a special pleasure this day to greet you from a Site based in these islands.
